Alaka’i Hydrogen powered Flying vehicle

Alaka’i technologies A transportation company based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts have unveiled their new Hydrogen powered Electric flying vehicle ” Skai” codesigned by BMW on wednesday near Los Angeles consisting of an oversized drone with six powerful rotors on the roof and a luxurious SUV for transportation of upto 5 travelers at a time.

This vehicle takes off and lands in the same way as a drone does.

Many other companies like Boeing and Airbus have made successful test flights of their flying vehicles but the fact is that they used battery to power up which is quite bulky and are to the weight of the flying vehicles.

On the other hand Skai used Hydrogen fuel which is very light weighted with travel range of 645 Km and 455 Kg weight capacity.

Alakai is planning a test flight near Massachusetts headquarters very soon.

Alaka’i have said that the flying vehicle would be flown by an onboard pilot using joysticks also they have confirmed they have technology to fly it remotely or even automatically.

Attorney Thaddeus Lightfoot a partner with the firm Dorsey and Whitney who helps company to maintain FAA rules have said FAA is yet to have wait long for allowing autonomous flights for passengers using these flying vehicles as these vehicles must prove their airworthiness like any common plane to get certified.

He said:

The technology is interesting, but the regulatory road will be very long.

The Skai may be used for goods mailing and food and water transfer in case of disasters etc. It could be used as an ambulance to evacuate people, can be used as a mobile service tower hovering for 10 hrs over a place to provide telecommunications and data services etc., Hanvey said.

These technologies would be soon popular in coming future and we will be able to travel more efficiently and fastly by using such type of technologies.

Mobile Hotspots or WiFi not Showing in PC Windows 10 [Solved]

Where is the problem PC or Phone?

The main problem lies in the Network settings of PC.

How to solve it?

Follow these steps to solve your mobile/Phone’s hotspot not showing in your computer:

STEP 1: Right click on WiFi or Globe Symbol in the task Bar

STEP 2: Select Open Network and Settings

STEP 3: Click on Change adapter options in Change your Network Settings section.

Then Network Connection Window will Open

STEP 4: Right Click WiFi and select properties

Now WiFi Properties window will Open

STEP 5: Click on Configure…

Now your WiFi Drivers Setting will Open

Step 6: Click on Advanced and select AP Mode Force BW20 and set value as Enabled

Now you can see your network in the WiFi list.

Mac Pro 2019: Price, Specifications, Design

Overview:

Apple have unveiled their new Mac Pro with Modular Design Alongside a 32 inch 6K Apple Pro Display XDR.

Both products will be available for consumers at the end of 2019.

Specifications:

Following are the details about design and specifications of Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR

Mac Pro:

The Mac Pro features a design that echoes the original Mac Pro, with a Steel body and a mesh front panel and handles at top, the body is 52.9 cm tall ( without optional wheels), 45 cm deep and 21.8 cm wide. Weight is 18 Kg.

Specs:

It have 8 user accessible PCIe slots which used to upgrade the Mac Pro. Apple have installed a new MPX module that combines PCIe and thunderbolt 3 connectivity in a design for easy cooling.

The Mac Pro will have 8-core 3.5 GHz Intel Xeon processor although 12,16,24 and 28 cores option are also available.

Memory (RAM) support goes upto 1.5 TB. Users can configure upto two MPX module each featuring two latest AMD Radeon Vega 2 GPUs for graphical bandwidth of 56 Tera-flops.

Mac Pro consist of two 2 TB PCIe SSDs with Apple’s T2 security chip.

Power output of the new Mac Pro is 1.4kW which is good enough.

Also a detachable stand with allows tilting, swivelling and height adjustment which costs 999 USD.

Six 6K display can be run on Mac Pro simultaneously.

Price:

Both the products offer premium services but these products are very expensive with new Mac Pro starting at $5,999 (approx. INR 4,14,000). While the pro display XDR will start at $4,999 (approx. INR 3,45,000) not inclusive of stand.

LG Starts Selling 8K OLED TV

LG is ready for selling the world’s first 8K consumer TV namely OLED88Z9K with 88-inch OLED panel with an ultra HD 8K panel having resolution of 7680×4320 which is four times more pixels than 4K resolution in South Korea.

This is the largest of the televisions in terms of both resolution and size which LG have ever sold.

We know that their is not much 8K content exists in the world at present but LG have addressed this by learning on their second generation Alpha 9 8K processor that uses Deep Learning Algorithm to help upscale the graphics to 8K resolution and also to generate Virtual 5.1 surround Sound with support for the Dolby Atmos.

LG have priced these 8K televisions at 50 Million Won which is roughly USD 42,000 but pre-ordered that will be taken in June will have reduced price of 40 Million Won (USD 34,000).

(Note: Won is the currency of South Korea (KRW))

These 8K televisions will go on sale in North America and Europe in the third quarter of 2019.

But the real question is that when 8K content will be streamed actually which will give full experience to the user although 4K content is still barely available which gives the conclusion that Real 8K content is far away from now for normal usage i.e., is somewhat futuristic which may take even half of a decade to streaming services.

Microsoft Xbox Gaming Pass

Microsoft have announced that they are bringing their popular console game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, to Windows.

It is well lnowm thay some of the games included in Xbox games can be played on PC.

At present, any PC game that is part of the game pass can be played on either Xbox or Windows under the Microsoft’s Play Anywhere Initiative.

Now Microsoft says that they are launching a new version of the subscription for Windows computers with over 100 games from more than 75 developers. At present fewer than 20 games of Xbox are available through Xbox game pass can be played on Windows pc.

Microsoft have said that the cost of the subscription is still not known. The previous rates around USD 9.99/month. They have said that they will we announcing more about the PC-specific version of Game pass at E3 next month.

Microsoft have confirmed that this will consist of developers like Sega, Fallout, Deep Silver, Bethesda etc. Subscribers will get the same benefits through the Microsoft Store that current Xbox Game Pass members get through Xbox live, which includes being able to play any Microsoft’s proprietary games free with Game Pass on the release date.

1 Million Vulnerable Computers

Description:

Microsoft has warned Windows XP and Windows 7 users that nearly one million computers are globally at the risk of malware attack similar to WannaCry that attacked worldwide computers in the year 2017 causing damage of billions of dollars.

Origin:

Microsoft have recently discovered “wormable” vulnerability in Remote Desktop Services for Windows that can speed automatically to the system.

Damage:

The vulnerability can be used to run code at the root level, allowing full access to the computer including all of the data present in the system.

Also it’s remotely exploitable, allowing anyone to attack a computer connected to the Internet at fetch and cause harm to user’s data.

The bug’s vulnerability level is termed as “critical” affecting computers running on Windows XP and Windows 7.

Solution:

Microsoft have advised it’s users to upgrade to the latest Operating System i.e.,

Windows 8 or Windows 10 as they are not Vulnerable to these bugs.

Artificial Intelligence Beats Gamers In Multiplayer Shooter

Alphabet Inc. Google’s parent company have developed the DeepMind AI which is designed by a team of programmers at Alphabet led by Max Jaderberg to work on a modded version of Quake III Arena(a multiplayer video game).

Computers have been showing their dominance over humans in turn based games like chess, ludo, pool etc. since IBM’s Deep Blue AI beats professional players in chess

The AI was developed to taught themselves to play a competitive first-person multiplayer video game Shooter. And they become so professional in the game so they were able to consistently beat the humans.

They choose “Capture The Flag” mod of the game in which person have to work with teammates to grab opponent’s flag while saving your own flag which includes complete strategies to win.

After the AI was given time to train themselves for the game they came up with shocking results beating professional Gamers in a strategy based game. Alphabet have also said that they were able to beat humans but their reaction times were also slowed down to the reaction speed of a human.

Although Alphabet Inc. have stated earlier that the DeepMind would not be made available for Military. Even in the programs and databases of the AI the word “shoot” is never used they were only given the command to point laser towards the opponents. In the simple words they were not taught to shoot anyone anywere.

Company have stated that they are currently working on the AI for research purposes only to train the AI about complex strategies and reaction on any new move beign played by other as the human does in an effective was for more and more advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Tech development etc.

WhatsApp iPhone Update

WhatsApp have removed a fuction/ability to save profile picture of the users in the gallery and bring album improvements to their users in their new Beta Version 2.19.60.26 of the App in iPhones.

WhatsApp have done similar update in its beta version of Android smartphone.

In this update WhatsApp have removed any operations on the profile picture of your contacts like copying, exporting and saving the picture.

Apart from this WhatsApp beta brings album improvements under which when the users recieve multiple photos, videos etc. in a chat they will be shown the total size of the album with the number of items in it.

WhatsApp have also revised their audio export format:

The official voicw message format in the WhatsApp is Opus however this format is not supported by many devices. To solve this issue WhatsApp will now exports Opus files as M4A i.e., AAC codec. This feature is only available for iPhones till now and is yet to be announced for Android Devices.
